1. Inleiding

Websites hanteren handige en nuttige technieken die het gebruiksgemak verhogen en die de site zo interessant mogelijk maken voor elke bezoeker. Bekendste voorbeelden van dit soort technieken zijn webbeacons, cookies, scripts, etc (hierna samen te noemen "cookies"). Cookies kunnen worden gebruikt door websitehouders of door derde partijen - adverteerders bijvoorbeeld - die communiceren via de website die jij bezoekt.

3. Analytisch: Cookies waarmee we het gebruik van de website kunnen meten

5. Advertenties: Cookies om advertenties te kunnen tonen

Onze website laat je advertenties zien. Deze advertenties zijn voor ons een noodzakelijke bron van inkomsten, waarmee wij onze website financieren.

It anonymously tracks the adverts and campaigns the user has been shown and those he has clicked on. Further, the cookie allows to recognize the user on the corresponding websites of Ligatus partners and clients when completing any commercial transaction on these websites. This cookie is used for charging and accounting purposes with Ligatus partners and clients.	60 days/1 year. Depending on the type of conversion, this Cookie will be automatically deleted after 60 days (validity for text/image campaigns orpopunder campaigns) or 1 year (validity for Postviewcampaigns), if not deleted by user manually before the date of expiration.
LIG_TKP	Ligatus	This cookie avoids that the user is repeatedly shown adverts or campaigns that he has already been shown or he may have rejected previously (this method is called frequency capping).	30 days. trcn [CampaignI D]	Ligatus	This cookie is stored, when a user has clicked on a CPL-campaign presented to him on our partner's websites and when he is redirected to our customer's websites. It is used to recognize the user after this conversion (by using an anonymous ID-number) on the websites of our clients as advertisers. It anonymously tracks the campaigns the user has been shown and those he has clicked on. Further, the cookie allows to recognize the user on the corresponding websites of Ligatus partners and clients when completing any commercial transaction on these websites. This cookie is used for charging and accounting purposes with Ligatus partners and clients.	14 days. Cookie will be automatically deleted after 14 days (standard for external tracking) if not deleted by user manually before the date of expiration.
LIG_Y	Ligatus	This cookie is used to show the user adverts and campaigns that are relevant to him on the websites of Ligatus partners and advert publishers (e.g. for Behavioral Targeting services, including Retargeting services and special product recommendations) if the user has agreed to the storage and use of such cookies. In this case, it identifies the user as a potential Behavioral Targeting user (by an anonymous ID-number, which is stored within the cookie) and it enables the display of any adverts or campaigns that have been automatically selected on the basis of the user's interests (which are presumed on the basis of his previous browsing and clicking behaviour) and further collection of such data.	30 days. LIG_SRT_M	Ligatus	This cookie is used to show the user adverts and campaigns that are relevant to him on the websites of Ligatus partners and advert publishers (e.g. for Behavioral Targeting services, including Retargeting services and special product recommendations) if the user has agreed to the use / storage of such cookies. In this case, it functions as a 'master cookie” for Behavioral Targeting services and (by using an anonymous ID-number) it anonymously tracks the user's browsing and clicking behavior on the websites of our partners and clients, to show him more relevant content. This may be adverts and campaigns, which presumably match with the interests of the user.	13 months. Cookie will be automatically deleted after 13 months if not deleted by user manually or by activating the opt-out cookie ('LIG_OPT') before the date of expiration.
LIG_SRT_O	Ligatus	This cookie is used to show the user adverts and campaigns that are relevant to him on the websites of Ligatus partners and advert publishers (e.g. for Behavioral Targeting services, including Retargeting services and special product recommendations) if the user has agreed to the use of such cookies. In this case, it is stored, when a user has clicked on an advert or a campaign presented to him on our websites and it is used to recognize the user after this conversion (by using an anonymous ID-number) on the websites of our clients as advertisers. It anonymously tracks the adverts and campaigns the user has clicked on and the corresponding websites of our clients he may have visited afterwards. Further, the cookie tracks if the user has completed any commercial transaction on the relevant websites and if such transaction has been completed, the cookie is used for charging and accounting purposes with our clients. Finally, after a completed transaction, the cookie avoids that the user is repeatedly shown the corresponding adverts or campaigns again.	90 days. 6. Interesses: Cookies ten behoeve van gedragsafhankelijke inhoud van de webpagina

Ons doel is om bezoekers van onze website te voorzien van informatie die zo relevant mogelijk is voor hem of haar. Daarom proberen wij onze site zoveel mogelijk aan iedere bezoeker aan te passen. Dit doen we niet alleen via de inhoud van onze website, maar ook via de advertenties die worden getoond.

Ook derde partijen die via onze website cookies plaatsen, kunnen op deze manier proberen je interesses te vinden. De informatie over je huidige websitebezoek kan in dat geval gecombineerd worden met informatie van eerdere bezoeken aan andere websites dan de onze.

7. Overig: Onvoorziene / overige cookies

Door de manier waarop internet en websites werken, kan het zijn dat wij niet altijd inzicht hebben in de cookies die via onze website door derde partijen worden geplaatst.
